Greetings Ruggers & fans, I'm still over in Bumfukt, AFG. Been gone 8 months, 4+ months to go before I rotate back to the World. Y'all should be preparing for you first matches of the Fall Season, which is where you will come together as teammates & freinds. Take a moment, & dedicate yourselves to the things that make the club prosper & gain respect throughout the region & nationally. Go to practice, pay your dues, plan your future so you can particpate in both home & away matches. Ask what you can do to help the club, from playing new positions, to making work parties & assisting the pitch chairman w/ his responsibilities. We're only as good as our personal dedication to fitness, club activites, & total participation in the club season. This club should have tough competition for all positions, so give your all to play for the first side. For you folks currently playing 2ds, keep in mind that positions on game day are not set in stone. You can work your way into the 1st side, but the dedication must be consistent & absolute. Enjoy the Fall Season, & best of Luck in the coming year. I'll see y'all in March. Yours In Rugby, Dennis

Great site fellas. I can remember many moons ago when I started the site. WOW what a difference.
Congrats on all of the success. You guys should be proud. Looks like all of "Swamps" hard work and dedication is paying off. I hope to get back in the states soon to check out some good rugby. I might even make a run with ya'll. I think I have a good two minutes in me.

Hey guys. I was passing through New Orleans in the Autumn 1992. Doing the same now on the net. My friend Louai and I came to visit his friend Martin, who was training to be a priest. We trained at the club for about amonth and played a couple of times for the B's. i did my knee at the Battleship tournement in the first game. By the by. Had a great time. Great hospitality. Games at the University, beer from a keg and then at the rugby pub. Always said I'd get a team back within five years but it never happened. Too much life taking place. Anyway, glad to see your still going strong and in fact from strength to strength.
Hebe.

Guys,
Are we doing anything as a club for 'Irish' Matt. Just read how sick he is. Loved playing with him so just wondering if anything was going on. Congrats on a fantastic season. With hot monkey sex, vance 45 Entries in guestbook |
